+ How quickly do you book up for wedding dates?

We take wedding bookings up to two years in advance. We are busy year round and suggest inquiring with us sooner than later. Please visit our BOOK page to inquire.

+ Do you provide services only for weddings?

We are happy to be a part of any special event. Engagement, boudoir, maternity, bachelorette, graduation and more. Please inquire with us for event pricing.

+ Who are the artists?

We have a talented team of hair and makeup artists. We will do our best to set you up with an artists that fits your style and personality. Artists are chosen depending on your date and who is available. We can assure you that we trust all of our artists to provide you with the best service. Let us know if you have specific artists in mind.

+ How many artists are assigned to my wedding?

If hair and makeup services exceed 6 people and or you have minimal time to get ready we will send 2 or more artists. An artist fee may apply for sending 2 or more artists.

+ Do you charge travel within Calgary?

Travel within Calgary city limits is complimentary. Please note an artist fee of $25-$50 per artist will apply if they’re less than 4 services requested.

+ What are the requirements to travel out of Calgary?

We require 6 or more guests for both hair and makeup services to travel outside Calgary city limits.

+ How much do you charge for travel?

We charge $0.58 per KMS roundtrip. Hotel accommodations for our artists may be require based on distance travelled and start time. Please inquire with us for your travel quote.

+ Do you charge more for certain dates?

Yes, we apply a 25% increase to your services and travel for statutory holidays, including New Years Eve.

+ Do you offer group booking discounts?

No, we charge per service.


Yes, grooms styling services are available upon request.

+ Do you provide touch ups?

A complimentary touch up kit is provided for each bridal party. For an additional cost, we are willing to stay for touch ups between events. We pride ourselves in looks that last all day and night for your event, so touch ups aren't necessary.

+ What brands of hair products do you use?

Our hairstylist’s use only the best products to ensure styles will last all day and night. We use mostly Oribe along with Bumble & Bumble.

+ Which brands of cosmetics do you use?

Our makeup artists use professional camera ready products. Each artists makeup kit varies. These are some brands they love working with- MAC Cosmetics, Bobbi Brown, Makeup Forever, NARS, Laura Mercier, Estee Lauder, NYX, Urban Decay, Benefit, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Chanel, Tarte, Smashbox, BECCA, Lancome, Clinique and more.

+ What if I have allergies or sensitivities to certain products/Ingredients?

Please let us know if you or anyone in your party has concerns about particular products or allergies and sensitivities to specific ingredients.

+ May I bring my own cosmetics?

If you have a favourite product, bring it along and we will experiment with incorporating it during your trial.

+ Do you supply extensions?

We don’t supply clip in extensions. We will add in your own clip in extensions for an additional $25 per look. Please let us know so we can accommodate more time to do so. If clip in extensions are to put in, please come with them clean and dry. If they are new, they must be washed prior to wedding date.

+ Can I do my trial before booking and sending a deposit?

We do not offer pre-trials prior to booking and/or securing your wedding date. If after your trial, you change your mind on your style; a re-trial fee will be applied.

+ Are trials mandatory?

Yes, trials for brides are mandatory. The trial is your first face-to-face meeting with the artists who are excited to make you look and feel your best. We treat each and every trial very delicately and with respect. From an artists perspective, this is our first chance to demonstrate our professionalism, skill and love for what we do. It gives us the opportunity to determine your hair’s needs, and how to make it look its best. It also shows us how the makeup will set on each individually unique face. The trial is for you is to see the look you've envisioned become a reality. It's also an opportunity for you to build a relationship with the ones spending the morning with you and your bridal party before you walk down that aisle. It is just as important to love your look as much as you trust the artist.

+ Can I use my trial towards my engagement/boudoir photos?

Makeup trials can be used, however hair trials need to be booked separately. The reason for this is that you don’t want the same hair for your wedding as you do for your engagement/boudoir photos so our process in creating your look is different based on the preferred style. We suggest booking the hair and makeup trial together so you can see the whole look. We do offer bridal packages if you book more than just your wedding day services.

+ How long do trials take?

Trials for just hair or just makeup take anywhere from 1-2 hours. Trials for both hair and makeup can take anywhere from 2-4 hours. We ask that you give yourself and us enough time to be completely happy and fall in love with the look we, as a collective have created. We will never rush a trial, as we know and understand the importance of it. This will ensure that a re-trial won't be necessary, saving time and money.

+ Can I get a re-trial?

If you change your mind on your style, a retrial fee will be applied. If you are for any reason unhappy with your artist or the service you were provided we will review each case with the best possible solution.

+ Where are trials held?

We are prepared to come to you for your trial. We are experienced in setting up in any kind of homes and condos. We ask that there is a table, chair, accessible outlets, and proper lighting ;(as close to natural light for makeup). If you are unable to provide a location for us to come to, we can organize an alternative solution.

+ Do all my bridesmaids need to get their hair done by TKB?

Yes, we kindly ask that all bridesmaids along with the bride commit to a hairstyle by TKB. We’d hate for member of your party to look out of place with a style that is not designed to last. Leave the pinning, curling and spraying to us, and well help you achieve a consistent look not only on your big day, but also in your photos.

+ How should I prepare for on-site services on my wedding day?

To ensure that your hair and makeup services flow smoothly, we require the following: • Come with CLEAN and DRY hair. Dry hair that hasn’t been flat ironed works best. • Provide chairs and table near an electrical outlet. • Ample lighting is beneficial for makeup services; natural light works well too. • Wear a button up shirt or robe. • Apply only facial moisturizer to clean skin. • Make sure that all members of your party are present when we arrive. The week of your wedding, we will be sending you and your bridal party a final confirmation that includes detailed tips and instructions for your big day!

+ How do you accept payment?

Preferred method of payment is by E-Transfer. We can also accept cash,cheque or Visa/MasterCard. Deposits are required to secure and book wedding date. Final payment is due 48 Hours before wedding/event date. Any additional add ons on the wedding day are to be paid in cash.

If you are from out of country and need to pay via Pay Pal, you are required to pay any service fees to complete transactions. A 3% charge applies to pay by Visa/MasterCard.

+ Can I tip my artists?

We’re very thankful for our hard work being recognized. An auto gratuity of 15% will be applied to ALL wedding day bookings unless otherwise agreed upon.
